Get to know me!

My name is Daniel

I’m a photographer and builder focused on visual storytelling, travel documentation, and small digital tools. I’ve been working with photography since 2018, originally through event coverage and later through personal projects abroad, including extensive work in Japan and Mexico. Most of my visual work centers on cities, everyday moments, and atmosphere rather than staged or commercial scenes.

Alongside photography, I build simple iOS apps and digital tools. I don’t come from a traditional software background — I learned by building projects I wanted to exist and refining them over time. My apps and systems prioritize minimal interfaces, offline-first thinking, and avoiding unnecessary features.

On YouTube, I publish cinematic, observational videos — walks, locations, and moments captured as they are. These aren’t tutorials or influencer content. They’re records of places I’ve been and things I noticed. Instagram serves as a still-image counterpart to that work.

Ethereal Focus is where all of this comes together: photography, video, and software built from the same mindset — document what’s real, keep things simple, and let the work stand on its own.

This site is not a brand funnel or a content schedule.
It’s where I publish what I’m working on.
